I'm probably one of the few interested people on the face of this earth who has yet to see The Dark Knight Rises. But when Figure Drawing for Dummies (ahem) came in the mail today I put it to use.
Of course, he's not really the movie-version, but he needed to old-fashioned tubes. I took them off again after scanning.
Basically, it's just a hobby of mine, I draw on normal printer paper (I save my special stuff for special occasions), and usually with normal pencils. I use GIMP to color things in, and I don't own any sort of tablet yet, so it's all done by mouse (can't you tell?). It's not high quality, but it's fun, and I only hope I keep improving.
