Drawing of the Day

And this baby, miraculously, somehow only took me a bit long than an hour...

Joseph Gordon-Levitt

I've been pushing and pushing and pushing myself to start drawing from photos, something which I'm terrible at, and have been continuously failing, I have finally come up with someone who actually looks quite like himself.

Drew it yesterday evening, but I didn't like it, I didn't have all his proportions right, which meant I practically couldn't sleep until I fixed it, which meant staying up rejoicing and groaning with each fail or fix until almost midnight. Yeah, I'm weird like that.

In Which I Draw Curly Hair on the Back of a History Test

Heheheh... *many guilty chucklings*, yes... on the back of a finished test, in class. If it's any comfort, I only got two wrong on it :) Yeah, no, I am certainly not brilliant. Although I suppose it would help if i took more notes and doodled less.
If it's any comfort, I won't be drawing curly hair again any time soon xD, it takes way too long. This was of course, mildly based off of this:

Archives.

An old drawing I dug up out of the depths of my scribbles and rubbish, I've always been quite proud of this one though :). And on another note, hey, would ya look at that? 20 posts and going strong, I'm impressed with myself ;)

Oh, an Actual Doodle? Who knew! ;)

That Girl Who Doodles doesn't quite seem to be living up to its name. Truth be told, I go through spurts of drawing, and then not for a week or two, then drawing again, musta been one of those spurts. But now I actually have something for you. And, it's really a doodle. It would have been much better if I actually had the proportion correct, after all, when the baby's head is almost larger than his mother's, we know we have a problem, but what the heck, it was fun.
